Game Preview
Greetings to the latest installment at the WTA Finals. While all contests promise excitement, the primary attraction features Swiatek facing off with Anisimova.
Their last meeting at the Wimbledon Championships four months ago proved extremely lopsided, with Swiatek achieving a commanding 6-0, 6-0 win. However, the American player made an impressive comeback just weeks later, overcoming her opponent in convincing fashion during the New York tournament.
Today's match marks the third chapter of their competitive rivalry, with the victorious player advancing to the semi-finals in Riyadh.
Earlier in the day, Elena Rybakina will compete against Ekaterina Alexandrova replacing Madison Keys. The American player pulled out due to illness in what represents a meaningless match, allowing the tenth-ranked player to participate. Rybakina aims to maintain her perfect streak, having previously defeated both Swiatek and Anisimova to secure her last-four position.
