Taliban Utilized Discarded British Gear to Track Down Afghans Who Worked With Allied Troops, Investigation Learns

A confidential source has revealed a parliamentary probe that British authorities abandoned sensitive devices enabling the Taliban to locate local individuals who worked with western forces.

Data Breach Endangers Numerous in Danger

The source, identified as Person A, stated that individuals impacted by the security lapse were told to relocate and alter their contact details to avoid detection from militant forces.

Members of Parliament are currently examining the Conservative government's response of a serious disclosure of personal details concerning approximately 19k individuals who had requested to come to the United Kingdom to escape militant rule.

Data Disclosure Occurred

A spreadsheet with confidential details, including names, addresses and occasionally household data, was accidentally leaked by a worker employed at special operations center in last year.

The incident was discovered months later, when details of nine people who had applied to relocate to Britain appeared on Facebook.

The source explained disturbing abuse experienced by affected individuals, including electrocution, waterboarding, and severe beatings.
